Growing up in a multi-pet home, it couldn't be more apparent just how quirky and unique their personalities can be. We soon realised our bird was not so innocent as she would say hello, but then viciously bite someone, or demand to be allowed to inspect someone's mouth to observe what they were eating. Our beautiful dog liked her cuddles, playing fetch, destroying doors and stealing hamburgers. Our cockatiels are very food-oriented but have their favourite person, depending on the time of day. All of this proved to us they aren't just pets, but part of the family.
